Andrea Baldi comes from Italy, the home country of Lamborghini. Since he is now working in Beijing, his family moved into the city to live with him. Baldi has two daughter, one of 8 years old and the other of only one year old. He likes swimming, riding bicycles and skiing, and spends the rest of the time mostly with his family.
His elder daughter likes rock climbing. In terms of hobby development, Baldi believes that passion is the most important thing. One would like to find what interests him most if he had a passion for it. “Just like running a 700-horsepower Lamborghini, it is quite challenging, but also interesting.” This is the thing in common between developing a hobby and building a brand, Baldi told Tencent Auto.
Influenced by his father, his daughter is also fond of cars, especially Lamborghini cars. Baldi would let her sit in and feel the car once he has an opportunity. When the Huracan was displayed in China and Singapore, luckily, Baldi’s daughter became the youngest experiencer.
“She felt very excited,” Andrea Baldi looked quite proud. However, that also brought him a happy concern. “She likes Lamborghini so much that I am afraid she would ask me to buy one when she grows up.”
“Actually, many of our customers have the same experience. In their childhood days, they had a toy car with a Lamborghini logo, or a poster of Lamborghini car on the wall. They see that car as their dream car. Then many of them, after growing up, make the dream come true and become owners of Lamborghini cars,” Baldi told Tencent Auto.
“Visionary, pure, absolute” is the official expression of Lamborghini spirit. “Visionary” comes from the DNA of Lamborghini. When he created the brand 50 years ago, Ferrucio Lamborghini set his goal of building a one-and-only supercar brand. The spirit was kept and passed down generation to generation. “Pure” refers to its design. A beautiful supercar should not only have a fancy look, but extreme performance in every aspect. From the engine to the technology, every detail should reflect the spirit of pursuing perfection. The word “absolute” means no easy compromise and no blind pursuit of sales numbers. What values most is to deliver best super cars to customers.
However, Baldi preferred to use “Fast, Beauty, Dream” to describe the brand with his daughter. “Just as most of our customers understand, Lamborghini is a brand consisting of more passion and dynamics, and its models are people’s dream cars, representing the highest level of manufacturing supercars.”
